I really like the way Dean describes looking into Trixie’s eyes. Also the story of how and when she began to talk was facinating. And we should all be so lucky to have such a good judge of character in our lives to deal with all those X characters.
Any pet parent (owner) who cares for, cleans, and sleeps in the same bed with their companions knows that they are much more than adornment.
I love Gerda and Dean’s story of Trixie and what she meant to them.
